Harry Potter is a young orphan living with his aunt, uncle and cousin, who clearly don't want him around! Mysterious letters start appearing for Harry, and since no one ever writes to Harry, his relatives intercept the letters. Until Hagrid the giant shows up to let Harry know he's been accepted in the the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (without even applying). Harry learns about his special gift while at school and meets other wizards as well.
